Summits 2008

Event Summary

All 1-to-1 deployments rely on a common core of dedication, support, implementation, and most importantly, strong initial leadership. For AALF’s part, we intend to equip educational leaders with the knowledge and vision they need to guide their school or district program towards a successful anytime anywhere learning environment.

Join AALF and a distinguished array of educational leaders to learn about the components of visionary leadership in 1-to-1:

  • Defining Vision - How the Superintendent Provides 1-to-1 Leadership
Superintendents play a crucial role in provide a technology-rich 1-to-1 environments for students. They must provide leadership for principals, students, staff, and community - and they must be onboard with a 1-to-1 deployment for ultimate success. At the AALF Summit, we present successful leaders, with a 1-to-1 vision matching their district's success.
  • Classroom Teaching
Experience 1-to-1 classroom learning from renowned, experienced 1-to-1 educators as they walk you through learning in a 1-to-1 classroom.
  • 1-to-1 Principals
So your district has a 1-to-1 vision. All stakeholders are onboard and you're ready to go. How will 1-to-1 function on a day-to-day basis in the school? Listen to how the principal is a crucial part in the success of 1-to-1 at the school, how their leadership can provide the sage guidance for success.
  • Critical Thinking in 1-to-1
People look at 1-to-1 as a forward-thinking educational innovation. So true - but that doesn't mean the 1-to-1 community shouldn't continually reflect upon its methods. Hear the contemporary debates - and practices - that will keep 1-to-1 as an innovative mainstay of education today.
