Karen Ward leads AALF's Coaching and Professional Development Services. Ward, an educator with over 25 years experience in K-16 schools, including over 10 years in 1:1 classrooms teaching English Language Arts, has spent the last decade and a half working as a consultant and coach for schools and districts, helping principals, teachers and district administrators understand the power of laptops as learning tools. Prior to joining AALF, she served as a program director and consultant for Springboard Learning and has also been a consultant coach for Pivot Learning and the Central Valley Educational Leadership Institute (CVELI) at California State University, Fresno. In addition to 1:1 learning, Ward's other area of experience and focus is with English Language Learners.
