Baldwin Co. Teachers Train for New Laptops |
Posted by: Susan Einhorn |
Some 800 teachers Wednesday got a little lesson on how to use the latest laptop teaching tools. \"We would not have thought in 1930 or 1940, to not have people learn how to drive a car. In this day and age we should not have thought about not training children in how to use technology,\" said school Superintendent Dr. Alan Lee. The county\'s Digital Renaissance Initiative is in its third year and continues to grow. In addition to high school students, 7th and 8th grade students will get laptops. Also new, 6th graders at title one schools eligible to apply for low income grants will get laptops too. |
