Laptops bring equality in education |

CHILDREN as young as four are learning as much on a laptop as they do staring at a whiteboard or a textbook at Oxley Park Public School. The school bought 500 XO laptops from One Education for every pupil from preschool to year 6. The new educational aids have been very popular, says principal Delphine Annett. \"They\'re fantastic for engaging the pupils with numeracy and literacy,\" she said. \"The pupils are in control and can use the laptops for a broad range of things, whether it be maths activities, taking photos, shooting film or accessing the internet.\" |
