Mid North schools embrace laptop programme |

Kaikohekohe Education Trust facilitator Raewyn Ritchie says a cluster of six Mid-North schools have been rolling out Chromebook laptops to their year 4 and up students over the last two years. She says it's imperative that the children get a handle on the digital landscape as that's the direction education, the workplace and world is moving in. She says in 2018 NCEA will be done digitally. "It makes learning visible. They can see where they're going, what their goals are and how they're going to achieve it. "It's the way we have to head for these children to make sure our children have the same development as anyone else in the world." |
