Edgecombe schools put computers in homes

Tarboro High School student Brandon Smith will be one of thousands of high school students in Edgecombe County Public Schools using laptops in class starting Monday, incorporating technology into daily learning.
Smith picked up his Dell Latitude laptop in a black case when the computers were distributed Saturday to students in the district’s three traditional high schools — North Edgecombe High School, SouthWest Edgecombe High School and Tarboro High School — as part of the 1:1 |
