| McWane Science Center will develop an XO laptop exhibit with a $50,000 check presented by Birmingham, Alabama, Mayor Larry Langford on Friday. The mayor raised the money through private donations after the city purchased more than 15,000 of the lowcost, rugged laptops last year for every first- through fifth-grader in Birmingham city schools. |
