One Laptop Per Child initiative launched in Africa |

The One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) initiative, which aims to improve education and learning among children in poorer communities, has been introduced to the African continent. Students aged six two twelve around the globe will be equipped with computers, training, technical and financial support to facilitate an improved educational process. |
