NEWLY appointed NSW Education Minister Verity Firth will put the wheels in motion from next month to start spending the state's $56 million National Secondary School Computer Fund allocation. First-round funding was allocated in June but NSW, the largest recipient, has yet to spend a cent due to dissatisfaction with the federal Government. NSW has said in the past that it would spend the money on laptops only. |
