STILLWATER — District technology staff is hoping that the roll-out of computer “stores” specifically for Stillwater schools and a technology co-op program will help the district move closer to its goal of 1:1 computer access for all students.
At the Oct. 22 Stillwater School Board meeting, Technology Coordinator Mike Droonen explained that the district is working closely with Apple Computer, Inc. and Dell to have online stores operational by Nov. 1. The stores would allow families of students in the district to purchase computers at lower pricing normally reserved for higher-education faculty. |
