Laptop obligation |

Schools in Hvidovre, Hjorring and Vesthimmerland (Denmark) are asking parents to provide pupils with their own laptops and six more schools in the same area are likely to make similar requests, found inspectors during a survey of 150 centres. One school recently sent parents of 11-year-olds a letter explaining that the school management expected them to provide children with a personal computer that could be brought to school. |
