The Apple computer commercials, with their famous “I’m a Mac. I’m a P.C.” spokesmen, will soon hold new meaning for Seymour High School students. Recently, the 180-student school won a $500,000 grant that will buy an Apple laptop — a Mac — for every student and teacher. When the program is rolled out completely, every student and teacher will leave their classroom’s one personal Windows-based computer (PC) behind — and the PCs in the library and computer lab — and be able to say, along with the Apple commercial, “I’m a Mac.” |
