Piedmont distributing laptops to all students, grades four through 12 |

Matt Akin stepped up to the podium for his big moment, and realized he didn’t know how to start his presentation. So Akin, superintendent of Piedmont City Schools, summoned a high school student from the audience to help him make his laptop work. The crowd, more than 60 people in their Sunday best, chuckled at the irony of it all. |
