The first batch of laptops, promised to successful pupils of the 2010 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination by the People’s Partnership Government, arrived in the country yesterday. The Minister said the distribution process would begin next week to schools in north Trinidad. “The distribution would start on Wednesday, when Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar comes back from New York on Wednesday morning,” said Gopeesingh. He said the computers would be delivered individually, to each child, by himself and Persad-Bissessar. |
