| This fall also will begin the third year of the 1:1 laptop initiative undertaken by the school system. Under the roll-out plan, laptops would be issued to ninth-graders in the fall. This means the school system will need to purchase 800 additional laptops over the summer. “I cannot believe I’m standing in front of you saying we need to purchase laptops for year three,” said Jill Reinhardt, director of technology and career and technical education. |
