Do school computers and laptops really work?

With a number of Caribbean governments implementing policies that provide lap tops and computers to schools, a new study released here today is warning that such facilities will do little to improve the quality of education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The study by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) warns that the provision of more computers would be useless unless countries invest in teacher training and educational software. |
