In late May, Baldwin County High Principal Johnny Cabaniss got a call from his boss that changed everything, he said. “This is truly one of the most exciting things ever to happen to Baldwin County High School,” Cabaniss said in a recent interview as Superintendent Alan Lee sat nearby. “When Dr. Lee first called with this idea, well, I’m glad I was sitting down because it was a shocker. It was pleasant to hear then.” That idea is now a key piece in what Lee is calling a “Digital Renaissance” that will start by putting laptops in the hands of all students at the Bay Minette school. |
