Surrounded by Empire classmates, one student brought her homework to last week's volleyball match vs. the Lady Gophers in Florence. Florence students may also be able to carry their work around on a lightweight laptop instead of bulky backpacks, and achieve the computer literacy employers expect. Voters in the Florence school district will be asked Tuesday if they're willing to pay for the program, known as "one-to-one computing." |
