Hamilton Heights Middle School is taking an unprecedented opportunity to enhance the way technology is used in teaching and learning. After two years of research and planning, Principal Elizabeth Wright and her panel of educators, administrators and parents hosted an informational meeting at the end of May to share details of the digital conversion.
The initiative, which will put a ruggedized, convertible tablet laptop and a wealth of software into the hands of all Hamilton Heights Middle School students, is designed to better prepare students for their constantly changing world. “Utilizing the laptop as another learning tool allows us to better meet the diverse needs and learning styles of our students and enables educators to facilitate learning more as we instruct in the classroom,” explained Matt Wallace, Educator and Director of Technology for Hamilton Heights |
