About 100 parents showed up at Huntsville High this evening for the first of six workshops designed to help them learn about the school district's new Digital 1:1 Initiative. Several parents, teachers and students have had complaints since the technology was implemented last month, including everything from claims about students being able to access pornography to their lack of access to the Internet and the new digital textbooks. |
